Our University Won Success in China Intelligence Robot Contest

　　From 16th to 18th in November, the 13th anniversary China intelligence robot contest “Future Partners” was hold in Nanjing University of Technology. 310 teams from over 90 universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Harbin University of Technology, Shantou University, vigorously competed in 8 items. The team made up of Cao Zhangheng, Li Junchao, Zhang Yingying and Liu Tongtong ranked second in the item of Robot Extinguishing Fire, which is guided by Prof. Yu Yuping in software school.
The robot lab was established by the software school in the centre of innovation and entrepreneurship in Oct. 2011 to prepare for this robot contest, and achieved championship of pseudo-NAO robot football team in Henan robot contest in May, 2012. In September, the team for extinguishing fire of robots has been established, which achieved good marks in China intelligence robot contest.
China intelligence robot contest “The Future Partners” was held in 2000 for the first time, which has become an influential robot contest that comprises most items. The contest has been co-operated by Special Robot Committee of Artificial Intelligence Academy and Robot Contesting Committee of China Automatic Academy.
