The First Domestic Heat-pump Pure Electric Vehicle Air Conditioner Officially Unveiled, ZUT as the Main Research Unit

The release date: 2012-10-28

The first domestic table ultra-low temperature heat pump-pure electric vehicle air conditioning system jointly researched by our energy and environment college, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Henan Brady Refrigeration Group, has achieved a success in vehicle performance test. This air conditioning system recently has appeared in Jinan, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Beijing and other domestic new energy auto shows, which causes attention from the domestic new energy automobile manufacturers and automotive air-conditioning manufacturer. Then China Faw Group, Zhengzhou Yutong Coach Group respectively signed cooperation development agreement about heat pump air conditioning and heat pump new energy bus air conditioning.

Ultra-low temperature heat-pump pure electric vehicle air conditioning system has attained main breakthroughs in many such key technologies as the cryogenic heat pump cycle technology, heat pump electric compressor cooling efficiency technology, composite heat utilization technology, the car heat exchanger fast defrost technology, system frequency volume control technology, and system intelligent control technology, and also got a series of core patent technology of intellectual property rights due to the accomplishments stated above. The air conditioning system can go on the heat pump heating operation stably with high efficiency in cryogenic environment of -20 ℃, better solve the current outstanding problems including high energy consumption caused by new energy automotive air conditioning incomplete winter electric heating means and the serious influence on the endurance mileage of pure electric vehicles. Experts agree that the overall technology has laid a foundation because of its international advanced level for our school in the new energy automotive air conditioning key technology research and new product development field to quickly capture commanding heights.
