Our School Holds Meeting of 2011-2012 School-year Work Evaluation

On September 21st and 22nd, our university held a meeting about performance evaluation of 2011-2012 in the academic hall on the eight floor of North Library on south campus. Directors from 43 departments or schools gave speeches respectively to report the implementation of work, achievements and some existing problems in 2011-2012 by the presentation of PPT.

At the beginning of the meeting, forms of departments’ performance evaluation and office leading groups and leading cadres’ evaluation are given out, and the participants democratically gave comments to the 43 departments and schools according to the department reports and the basic information they have learned in the past.

Finally, Xie Zhenshan, secretary of the Party committee of our university, addressed a concluding speech, pointing out that the evaluation fully demonstrates work and achievements of the 43 departments, who are supposed to enhance mutual understanding, share the joy and the wisdom of thinking. At last he expressed his great respect and heartfelt appreciation for the arduous work and achievements.

Meanwhile, Party secretary Xie demanded that we pay great attention to the following points: First, we haven’t fully understood the knowledge theory and haven’t taken it fully into practice; second, we should strengthen school-level leader group; third, we lack a deep thinking and analyzing of the weaknesses of our work. To solve these problems, Mr. Xie required that every middle-level leader, especially those higher-level ones, need to find out their weaknesses as well as achievements, and learn from others with an open mind to compensate their weaknesses. Finally, he stressed that all administers should integrate their own outlook with the development of our college so that we can cultivate three spirits, namely, the spirit to seize every chance and strive for success, the spirit to devote and take responsibility, the spirit of being practical, efficient, and innovative. We should strengthen our awareness of opportunity, responsibility and innovation, keeping improving the abilities of study, making plan, organizing, implementation, communication, and coordination and exploration innovation.
