Zuo Zhenjun, a professor of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, appointed part-time professor in our university

     On the afternoon of July the 3rd, a ceremony is held in the third floor of the Basic Experiment Building of North Campus, at which Zuo Zhenjun, a professor of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, is appointed part-time professor in our university. The ceremony is attended by Xie Zhenshan, Party secretary of our university, Guo Zhengrang, deputy Party secretary, Gu Jingli, vice president, Zhao Qingguo, vice chairman of Huajing Corporation, Li Zhihong, deputy chief engineer of Zhengzhou Research Institute for Abrasives & Grinding, as well as relevant people in charge from Personnel Department, School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Superhard Materials Products Engineering Laboratory, and chaired by Guo Zhengrang, deputy Party secretary.

    At the ceremony, Xie Zhenshan, Party secretary of our university, made a welcome speech; Gu Jingli, vice president of our university, awarded Professor Zuo Zhenjun the letters of appointment, and wore the school badge for him; then Professor Zuo Zhenjun gave a short speech and had a discussion with the people present.

    Professor Zuo Zhenjun currently serves as the deputy director and the professor-level senior engineer of the Development Department of Metallurgy and Building Materials of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, also an expert who enjoys special State Council allowances, and holds concurrent posts of circular economic experts of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and director of China Equipment Supervision Association.

    Professor Zuo Zhenjun has long been engaged in such various work as pre-project consulting, project consulting, enterprise management consulting, corporate strategic development planning, building materials industry planning, industry case studies; presided over and drafted more than 200 items, including a variety of industries planning, corporate strategic development planning, case studies, and national important project advisory assessment reports; made many achievements which have produced remarkable influence in his field and are highly spoken of by national decision-making departments. Professor Zuo Zhenjun has also participated in The Cement Industry Policy and The Special Plan of Cement Industry Development formulated by National Development and Reform Commission as the programmatic documents of China's cement industry development. Several major national cement projects presided over by him have promoted the localization of China's large-scale cement equipment and the overall level development of China’s cement industry; many corporate strategic development planning and management consulting projects presided over by him have been implemented effectively, and accordingly, the overall level of corporations have been greatly improved; over 100 items of major engineering project consulting have provided valuable advice and suggestions for decision-making departments.

Employed part-time professor at our university, Professor Zuo Zhenjun will surely improve the relevant researches of our university, greatly promote the development of those related majors, and have a significant guidance in cultivating advanced practical talents in our university.
