    The School of Economics and Management (SEM), founded in 1985, has developed into a leading school in the number of majors and current students. Up to now, the total of undergraduates amounts to 3828. Besides, there is a high level teaching staff of more than 80, including 11 professors, 40 associate professors and 37 master’s supervisors, among whom more than 30 people hold doctor's degree and over 50 teachers have master's degree.
     The school offers 6 undergraduate management majors, including business administration, marketing, accounting, project management, information management & information systems, and public administration (exhibition, air crew & airport management directions). Moreover, the school sets up two undergraduate economics majors: international economy and trade, finance. The school sets up the first-level discipline of business administration with several subordinate programs offering master’s degree, as well as MBA degree.
     Enterprise management is the key discipline of Henan Province. Management Science and Engineering is the central discipline at the University-level. The Research Center of Systems and Industrial Engineering Technology is the key base of humanities and social science among Henan general institutes of higher education. In addition, SEM has established a Technology and Innovation Management Research Center jointly with Xi'an Jiaotong University and a Technology Research Center for Economic Transformation jointly with Beijing Institute of Technology.
