Meeting of Joint Management Committee of Sino-British Education Project held in our university

On August the 6^th, the meeting of Joint Management Committee of Sino-British Education Project of University of Manchester and our university was held in the 3rd-floor conference room of basic experimental building on North Campus.

The participants of two sides firstly summarized and communicated the cooperation and achievements at levels of undergraduates, masters and doctors, and spoke highly of it. In order to further standardize the management, improve quality and advance the projects to develop steadily, continuously and healthily, the two sides focused on the problems of management of Sino-British education project, communicated further in improving the students’ English, and increasing Sino-British project publicity, reached some consensus, and put forward some specific measures.

The participants were Dr. Chen Xiaogang, coordinator of cooperative education project of the University of Manchester and distinguished professor of our university, vice-president Du Jianhui, vice-president Cao Jian, Miss Sun Wei, head of Office of International Affairs and Exchange, Dr. Zhang Chao, deputy-director of Department of Academic Affairs, Prof. Liu Yaojun, dean of School of International Education and secretary-general of the joint management committee, Prof. Li Xiongyi, dean of School of Economics and Management, Dr. Zhang Wangxi, dean of School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Mr. Niu Jianshe, assistant dean of School of Textiles, and assistant dean Yang Hongying of School of International Education.
