ZUT Won the Team Title of Bodybuilding Championship in Henan Province

On September 27th, “2012 Tianrui Cup" Bodybuilding Championships hosted by the Provincial Sports Bureau in Henan Province closed grandly at ZUT’s gymnasium. Our college students’ Aerobics Team, with Zhao Nie as the leader, Zhang Lei as a coach in physical education department, eventually ranked the first in the general team score of college student group and won the outstanding organization award after two days of intense competition. Among them, Zhou Ying from the School of Mechanical & Electronic Engineering won men’s bodybuilding runner-up of college group, the fourth of men’s figure in college group and men’s bodybuilding runner-up at 70 kilogram level in adult group; Xu Zhiqiang from the same school won the fifth of men’s figure in college group and the sixth of men’s figure in adult group; Zhou Tianxiang from School of Energy and Environment Engineering, ranked the sixth of men’s bodybuilding in college group. The tournament has a total of 200 athletes from 24 teams, including 5 universities. It has the largest number of teams and players of all the tournaments. (Text & Photo/Office of Physical Education)
